Beloved Matriarch
Her love, strength, and wisdom continue to live on through every generation she touched. Though she may no longer be with us, her legacy remains a lasting foundation of family, community, and cherished memories.
Her life was a gift to all who knew and loved her. She has left a legacy that will endure for years to come.
Built on legacy. Built for community. Built for what’s next.
Lou’s Specialty Building Materials Center & Distribution Hub was created with a simple but meaningful vision: to provide the Linden community with access to quality building materials, trusted expertise, and exceptional service; all in one place.
Lou’s was established in honor of Louis Amanda Jupiter Grimmond, the beloved grandmother of our CEO and founder, Stacey. Louis was a remarkable woman who lived to the age of 107, leaving behind a legacy defined by strength, service, community, and an enduring love for her country. She set a strong foundation for the generations that followed, not simply through the life she lived, but through the people and community she touched along the way.
Lou’s was created as a tribute to that legacy.
Her spirit of community continues to shape who we are and what we strive to offer. We believe that a building materials center should be more than a place to purchase products; it should be a resource, a partner, and a place where builders, contractors, tradespeople, and members of the community can find the materials and knowledge they need to bring their work to life.
Our offerings span paint, flooring, cement, tools, construction supplies, consumables, adhesives, and more, carefully selected to serve both everyday customers and the professionals who build, renovate, and maintain our communities.
We are especially proud to be part of Linden’s continued growth. As the city develops and new projects take shape, the talented construction crews working locally deserve convenient access to the quality tools, materials, and supplies that help them do their best work. Lou’s exists to help meet that need. Lou's is bringing dependable products and knowledgeable service closer to the people who are building Linden’s future.
At the heart of Lou’s are three principles: quality, expertise, and community.
Quality in the products we offer.
Expertise in the service we provide.
And a commitment to the community that gives our business its purpose.
What began as a tribute to one extraordinary woman is also a commitment to the generations that come after her. We hope to honor Louis’s legacy by continuing to build strong foundations. Not only in the projects our customers create, but in the relationships, partnerships, and community we help build along the way.
Welcome to Lou’s. Built with purpose. Serving with pride. Building for the future.
